Dorm Room S'mores

Seeing as it is holiday season, I thought some nice winter treats would be in order. While this is more dorm room gourmet than dining hall gourmet, it is still a delicious snack for taking a break during those 10 page, end-of-semester papers. DORM ROOM S'MORES.

This is a simple recipe, although you may not have all the ingredients kicking around.

Needs:
Chocolate cookies (I use Mi-Del Chocolate Snaps)
Mini Marshmallows
Microwave

Instructions:
Just lay your cookies flat side up on a plate and cover them in mini marshmallows. Nuke them for 30 seconds and put another cookie on top. Press down so the 'mallow oozes out and take a bite. Mmmmmmmmm.

Welcome

Welcome to Dining Hall Gourmet. I'm a junior at the University of New Hampshire, and through the two years I've learned a number of tricks and and cool ideas that have helped me eat some things that weren't on the day's menu. I am here to share these ideas with you, in the hope that you can enjoy them the way I have. I'm working on gathering a number of ideas, so it may be a day or two before I post again, but I'll leave you with this tip that many of you may have already learned, but in case you haven't here it is:
When you're at the salad bar, grab two bowls. Put your salad and dressing in the first, turn the second one upside down and cover the first. Shake it all up and you have a nice tossed salad!

Enjoy!
